️How to burn candles️
!!! Caution !!!
Never leave burning candles unattended!
Use great care when burning in wooden candleholders (place a small glass/metal/pottery dish under candle or use metal inserts.)
Trim the wick to between 1/4” & 1/8” every time. This helps give a cleaner, brighter, more even flame, extending burn time.
The first time you light a new candle, let the candle burn until the entire top surface has melted. This prevents tunneling (when only the center burns, leaving a tunnel behind), and helps create “candle memory” so that your candle can utilize the maximum amount of wax for more hours of light.
Keep candles away from air currents for an even burn and longer life.
To avoid smoke, don’t blow out candles, instead use a candle snuffer, tweezers or a knife to dip the wick in the wax. Once extinguished, pull the tip of the wick back out of the melted wax so it’s ready to light next time. Remember to trim wick to decrease soot and keep flame the correct size.
Burning 100% beeswax releases negative ions which helps neutralize pollutants, allergens, smoke, bacteria and viruses in the air, unlike paraffin, synthetic & scented candles which release chemicals and toxic byproducts when burned.
