Floating Lotus Beeswax Candleholder SET of 3

$35.00

Set of three pure beeswax holders for tea lights or altar goods (herbs? salt? rings? shells? stones?)  Three tea lights are included as well.

My favorite way to use these is as floating candles, with tea lights, set into a bowl of water along with flower heads or petals, for a beautiful and mesmerizing centerpiece.

The inside of each holder measures 2.5” in diameter and 2” in height.

Please note that if tea lights are used it’s best to use the yellow felt pad (included) to protect the base from getting too warm.

Honey bees make wax from the honey they eat, forming wax flakes which are extruded through glands on their abdomen, chewed with saliva and used to build the incredible architecture of honeycombed hives. Wax is collected, filtered and melted to make candles. I don’t use any scents or additives, as only pure beeswax candles can actually purify the air when burned, by releasing negative ions which bind with allergens and pollutants and neutralizing them.

The soft, warm, natural glow of candlelight has been found to switch the brain into an alpha wave state, during which we become calmer, more introspective and creative. Then, especially via candle gazing meditation (simply resting the eyes on a candle flame), the brain shifts into a theta wave state, associated with a deeper and more intuitive level of being.

No wonder we’re so drawn to candles! Whether for special occasions, ceremonies and rituals, romantic evenings, or simply to ease the transition between waking in the morning and winding down at night, candle light can play an important role in reconnecting to ourselves, one another, and the sacred side of life.

Every candle I make is hand dipped or hand poured with care and attention to detail, and infused with intention and peace.

Thank you for supporting beeswax candlemakers and thank you to the bees!
